BABU ESHWAR PRASAD: Born in Sakleshpura village in Hassan, Karnataka, in 1968, coming to Bangalore as a 12-year-old, Babu says that for him, "every street was a source of thrill". He did not even know that there were schools where art was taught. Six years after he joined the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat (CKP).
Babu was painting, sculpting and making prints at the Kanoria Art Centre in Ahmedabad. He got his bachelor's degree in fine arts from the CKP and his master's from M.S. University, Baroda. His works are featured in collections all over the country including the National Gallery of Modern Art.
