GURUDAS SHENOY 1965 Born in Udupi Karnataka in 1965, he earned his BFA (Painting) from Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University, Vadodara (1988). He was appointed Curator for MF Hussain’s Museum-‘Husain Sankalana’ in Bangalore (1990). He has held many solo shows at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai, Gallery Sumukha, Alliance Francaise, Venkatappa Art Gallery and Shrungar Art Gallery. He has participated in group shows at major art galleries like WelcomArt -ITC Windsor Sheraton (2005), Leela Galleria, Leela Palace, ‘Art for Cause’ – exhibition of paintings by Indian Artists at Windsor Manor Sheraton, Gallery Tangent, Mumbai, Lakshana Art Gallery, Bangalore, Interstate Exchange Exhibition of Art, Goa, by Lalit Kala Academy, besides others. He is a member of South Kanara Art Council (SKAC), VISTA Mumbai, Lifetime member of Bombay Art Society, Gaja Gamini Art Club and Hussain Sankalana, Bangalore. He has executed beautiful murals at BEL Intel, Himalaya Drug Company’s UAE and USA offices
