MILIND NAYAK: Nayak wants his paintings as close to reality as possible, for, he believes art should mirror reality. He is drawn by the vitality and exuberance of the nature. He wants to depict the glory of nature as he sees it rather than wanting to alter its appearance. His recent trip to Vermont USA, resulted in a body of 40 paintings which he painting on camping trips on the spot.
Nayak is a painter who is driven by his own tradition evolved through his own history. He currently lives and works in Bangalore.
