PRAVEEN KUMAR H V: - Born on August 17 in 1966 at Gauribidanur, is an Inspector in Customs and Central Excise, has developed his hobby of wildlife photography over 10 years. He has covered all sanctuaries in the country except those in the East. He is the first and only wildlife photographer from the department to receive recognition from Royal Photographic Society, Great Britain; Federation Internationals D'la Art Photographique, Luxemburg; and the Pakistan Salon Group.

He is the only central government employee in Bengaluru who has distinction in awarded honour of Master, Federation International de la Art Photographique (MFIAP) in recognition of his highest grade of creations of photograhic art

Mr. Kumar, who is also a theatre and TV artiste, has done shows in Kannada and Telugu. He has exhibited his photographs in Sydney, Spain, South Africa, Canada, Finland, Portugal and France.
