RAMAN G: An alumni of the Govt. College of Arts & Crafts, Madras, he received the Regional Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship & Senior Fellowship from the Govt. of India (1992 – 93). Four one-man shows in Madras and numerous Group Shows in India, USA & Japan and Art Camps are followed by awards from The Bombay Art Society; Mysore Pradesh Kala Parishad, Bangalore; Intermediate Christian Art Competition, New York; All-India Art Exhibition, Raipur & Mysore Dassera Art Exhibition.
